The Life of a Destined Film Producer
A film producer, director, and destined magazine owner: big dreams fill Tiffany McNeil’s heart.
McNeil is a native of Virginia Beach. She was born October 4, 1987. She graduated from Terry Stanford high School in Fayetteville N.C.
McNeil is a 19-year-old junior at East Carolina University, majoring in communications. McNeil has a minor in media production, hoping to fulfill her destiny in the business of film making.
McNeil found her passion for film making at a young age. It is a natural pleasure for her to watch movies and critic them. She enjoys taking pictures and recording live shots.
McNeil began receiving some of the experience while participating in the live announcements for her high school. She also helped with the school news paper.
“Very rarely will you find me without a camera stuck to my shoulder,” McNeil said. She doesn’t want to miss a moment.
Many describe McNeil as an outgoing kindhearted soul. Brittney said “she’s a free soul and she does as she pleases.” Burg said “her ambition keeps her motivated and wild.”
McNeil’s old roommate Burg said “I see her making it big.” Her outgoing personality and kind heart has gotten her half way there.” Her friends say if she builds up the proper experience nothing can keep her dreams from coming true.
McNeil has a strong family bond. She follows in the foot steps of her older sister. She feels she must hold up the tradition and set a good a good example for her younger brother.
Not only is McNeil big on family, she loves her friends. “We have fun together, just go plain crazy.” McNeil said proudly. Brittney said “she is one of the best friends you can have.” Brittney said “she does the best she can do to encourage and be there for me.”
Brittney also said “she goes from the serious film maker, to the loving volunteer, and back to the best friend. She is an all around person. If you want to have fun, have an intellectual conversation, or attempt to save the world McNeil is willing and ready to help”
McNeil knows how to warm the coldest heart. McNeil “I can and will talk to anyone.” Hales agreed with this statement when asked about what kind of person McNeil was. He said “She’s one of a kind, and can make anyone laugh, even when they are in a bad mood.”
McNeil has many other interests. She loves music. Burg stated “she listens to almost anything.”
McNeil enjoys playing her guitar. She has played the guitar since she was six. “It relaxes me” McNeil
McNeill also loves Carolina. She describes herself as a Carolina Fanatic. She basically said she was a big kid. “I go crazy for Carolina.” McNeil
McNeil thought it was crazy to be a UNC fanatic and be a pirate at the same time. So she became and ECU fanatic too. She was so excited about the ECU vs. Carolina football game.
McNeil said “I love who I am and expressing myself.” No matter how goofy or crazy people may think she is, McNeil is going to be herself.
Brittney told the story about McNeil shouting to the police officer one weekend downtown when she happened to be a little drunk. “She’s not afraid of who she really is” Brittney reiterates several times.
McNeil said “outside of me being silly, I have a serious side.’ Her friends said she knows what she wants and she is headed in the right direction.
This young lady from Virginia Beach is destined to be a film maker, and striving for success. “McNeil the insightful and entertaining one.” Well at least that is how she described herself in short.
