A Fight Until The End: Clinton vs. Obama
2008 Super Primary Tuesday didn’t have the same outcome for the democrats as the republicans. While Senator John McCain cleared away from his fellow nominees, Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator Barack Obama are still neck-to-neck.
Internet coverage for post Super Primary Tuesday depicted Clinton and Obama’s stand on health care and stimulating the economy.
Clinton is pushing for a mandatory individual insurance coverage and is offering subsidies for those who can’t afford health insurance.
Obama wants to make a national health care program for people who don’t have insurance coverage through their employers. He also wants to expand the program to those who aren’t covered by any existing service.
For economic stimulation, Clinton would create a $30 billion emergency fund for housing that would help against foreclosures. Obama would invest $75 billion into the economy by enforcing tax breaks.
They both have valid arguments for improving health insurance, and improving the current economic status. Although Clinton and Obama would go about changing the system in two very different ways, this doesn’t seem to bother too many Americans.
Reports show that most Americans can’t even decide between the two. Both have received numerous wins during the primaries and when Clinton is down in numbers, Obama is up and vise versa.
Even though Americans are having a difficult time deciding who is the best democratic candidate, in the end there can only be one, unless Clinton and Obama can overcome there differences, and have a joint ballad.
