How to find out about Super Tuesday

Primary Super Tuesday occurred on February 5 and was an important day concerning the elections. For college students, this is an important event to be interested in because most students are old enough to be able to vote in the elections.

The only problem is that college students don’t always have the time to sit and watch the actual event on television or to read it in a newspaper. The internet is a great source for on the go people to stay updated about Super Tuesday.

Sophomore, Olivia Cecconi, got her sources of news about Super Tuesday from the internet.

“The internet is the easiest way to find information because you can search for what you are looking for and be directed to a lot of different news websites,” said Cecconi.

Cecconi started her search at a basic search engine, www.google.com and searched for Primary Tuesday 2008. After doing her search she was directed to articles and information from different websites such as CNN, Wikipedia, Washington Post and more.

CNN’s website has a certain section that is dedicated to the elections and is a constant update of what is going on. This is a very handy and easy to use website for people who are behind in the news, or just want to be updated quickly on what is going on with the elections.

The internet is one of many ways to receive information about Super Tuesday and the elections but is a fast and easy way for someone with a busy schedule.
