My writing under “Prof’s Pieces” - #1
Just as you are doing your own pieces for the WordPress site (and web publication of the class), I’ll be doing my own. That would include a couple of web publications I did this semester (under www.flowtv.org and www.mediacommons.com) and the narrative for a documentary film proposal.
I can also experiment with the functions in WordPress, including boldface:
as in this line ; or italics:
as in this line right here ; or link to my Flow TV and Media Commons/In Medias Res pieces:
For example, to the approx 300-word piece with video clip I wrote on “The 2008 Academy Awards and Raymond Williams’ Structure of Feeling of the Age,” for my posting of March 14, 2008, you would simply go to http//:www.mediacommons.futureofthebook.org/videos/ (whoops: just clip this web site address in; I’ll have to check with Steve Maguire about how to put a web link in). The other pieces I wrote focus on ”
And for a block-quote, how about the paragraph I just wrote:
For example, to the approx 300-word piece with video clip I wrote on “The 2008 Academy Awards and Raymond Williams’ Structure of Feeling of the Age,” for my posting of March 14, 2008, you would simply go to http//:www.mediacommons.futureofthebook.org/videos/ (whoops: just clip this web site address in; I’ll have to check with Steve Maguire about how to put a web link in).
And I can keep experimenting with all the rest of the symbols.
For now, since we haven’t set up the category for Prof’s pieces for 2008, I’ll put it under Prof’s pieces for 2007 - and we can switch it into 2008 later.
Hope the rest of you (as students) are enjoying discovering this “data management” web publication tool as much as I am.
