Super Bowl in the Clear
While Eastern North Carolina was enraged in anger over Fox’s Super Bowl signal problems, a local church was able to watch the game without problems. Patrons of Discovery Church in Winterville watched the game glitch free on two eight foot screens. The new church met at the Boys and Girls Club, and was watching the game via a portable Direct TV satellite system. This system received the glitch free signal from WFOX out of New York while everybody else watch the poor signal from Eastern Carolina’s Fox Affiliate. Church patrons enjoyed watching the game and commercials with friends while eating a large spread of food including popcorn, hot dogs, and hamburgers. The church was watching the game following a tournament of tailgaters playing their favorite game of Cornhole.
