Super Bowl Mishap

A Super Bowl let down took place last Sunday. With rival teams Patriots and Giants taking the field, friends gathered with pizza and beer to watch what was supposed to be a great game. Disappointed by Suddenlink, a well-known cable company, the FOX channel froze during various parts of the game, leaving the third quarter a completely blank screen. Tom Petty’s half-time performance along with many commercials were left unseen. Despite angered fans, the party still seemed to continue. Thankfully the fourth quarter was shown with no problems, and everyone was able to see the most important play of the game. Within the last two minutes the New York Giants scored the final touchdown winning 17 to 14 over the New England Patriots. However, this great play is unfortunately likely to be overshadowed by the outages.
