SuperBowl DIP-OFF
Super Bowl Sunday kicked off at 5:30 pm at my roommate’s girlfriend’s house. We participated in a dip-off, in which different houses brought a dip representing their residence. A dry erase board served as the scoreboard for our event which consisted of over 20 participants. The rules were simple, try a dip and vote on the dry erase board. At the end of the night the dip/house with the most tallies wins the Dip Off. There were over eight dips including: crab, spinach, beef, chicken, ranch, buffalo wing, and 7 layer dip. Due to the lack of refrigerator space, most people brought coolers. Most fans were for the Giants, and we had four girls from New York. One person was from New England going for the Patriots. The atmosphere was great for the first twenty-five minutes until the television started freezing, in which case we decided to end the dip off early and head down town to Pirates Den Bar and Grill to finish the game. After the game, we returned to our coolers and finished off the rest of the dip.
